Assessments

All of our assessments utilize state-of-the-art iPad and computer administration when possible, rather than traditional paper-and-pencil methods. This creates a more streamline and efficient assessment process that is quicker and more enjoyable for the examinee (particularly children and teens). Furthermore, we utilized the latest psychological measures.

Neuropsychological Assessment:

We provide comprehensive cognitive/neuropsychological assessment. This type of assessment is used to clarify neurological diseases, understand the functional impact of a neurological diseases, track the progress of dementias, and determine the effect of a brain insults (e.g., brain injury or stroke). Areas examined in a neuropsychological assessment include intelligence, attention, memory, executive functioning, verbal and nonverbal processing, verbal and nonverbal memory, executive functioning, language ability, working memory, processing speed, and others cognitive processes.

ADHD, Learning Disability, and Achievement:

We provide comprehensive neuropsychological assessments that are catered to diagnosing ADHD, learning disabilities, or deficits causing academic/occupational difficulties. Beyond measuring neurological functioning, we also implement tools targeted to determining if ADHD and/or learning disabilities are present and how they are interfering with current academic, occupational, or interpersonal functioning.

Cognitive Strength/Weakness Profile:

We provide testing to determine cognitive strengths and weaknesses to optimize study and work techniques and to learn compensatory techniques for areas of weakness. Such information can be useful prior to standardized testing, starting higher levels of academia, or deciding new career paths.

Memory:

As we age, many of us become concerned about our memory. We provide memory testing to provide insight on if your memory is on par with others in your age group. Furthermore, we provide compensatory strategies in areas of weakness, if present.

Psychopathology/Personality Assessment:

People may have been in treatment, whether that be therapy or psychiatric medication management, for an extended period of time, possibly with several different practitioners, yet they or their providers may not feel like their diagnosis is clear. We provide comprehensive assessment, including psychological testing, to clearly identify a diagnosis and problem areas for treatment.
