Rosemarie Kurtz

Dr. Rosemarie Kurtz is a passionate pediatric neuropsychologist with advanced training in evaluating and addressing a wide range of cognitive and emotional challenges. She earned her doctorate from Columbia University and completed a two-year fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology at Northwell Health. Dr. Kurtz’s diverse experience spans across academic medical centers, schools, and community clinics, where she has honed her skills in assessing and supporting children and young adults with various needs.

Dr. Kurtz specializes in a broad spectrum of issues, including ADHD, autism-spectrum disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders, learning disabilities, language disorders, and intellectual challenges, as well as the emotional and behavioral difficulties often associated with these conditions. Her approach integrates both quantitative assessments (such as norm-referenced tests) and qualitative insights (through parent and teacher interviews) to create a detailed and nuanced understanding of each patient’s strengths and areas for growth.

Dr. Kurtz is dedicated to providing clear, actionable feedback and practical recommendations tailored to each individual’s needs. She goes beyond the evaluation process by actively engaging with school systems to ensure that her patients receive appropriate support, such as testing accommodations and classroom adjustments.
